Pepernoten met een twist!
Je ziet zo langzamerhand weer overal pepernoten in de winkel liggen, en mijn eerste reactie was “jeetje wat vroeg”. Maar, iedereen vind pepernoten lekker, en daar hoor ik natuurlijk ook bij!
Nu vind ik de gewone pepernoten hartstikke lekker, maar als ik ze dan zelf ga maken, dan wil ik graag dat dit net weer iets anders wordt dan normaal. Dus, ik ben, met de meiden, lekker gaan knoeien in de keuken 😉
Wat we gevonden hebben is dat als je crème de marrons (= kastanje crème, recept komt er binnenkort aan, of uit een potje) toevoegd, de bruine suiker door rietsuiker vervangt, en nog wat andere dingen, dat je een GEWELDIGE pepernoot krijgt!
En DAT recept vind je hier:
Hoeveel personen: 1 bakplaat vol
Bereidingstijd: 15 minuten
Kooktijd: Oven op 180 graden voor 12 minute
Wat heb je nodig:
200 gram meel
100 gram rietsuiker
100 gram boter
4 theelepels koekkruiden
5 theelepels melk
3 volle theelepels crème de marrons
Hoe maak je het:
Meng alles door elkaar tot een soepel maar brokkelig deeg.
Maak er balletjes van (niet al te klein, rond de 2 cm diameter, mag ook iets meer) en leg ze op een bakplaat (van te voren invetten, of een vel vetvrij papier erop leggen).
Strooi er wat rietsuiker overheen en duw dat voorzichtig een beetje aan op de pepernoten.
Laat ze 12 minuten bakken in een voorverwarmde oven. Laat ze afkoelen en doe ze in een mooie koekdoos.
Variatie Tips: Gebruik gedeeltelijk kastanjemeel in plaats van gewoon meel of doe er eens havermout doorheen. Je kunt ze ook glazuren, met crème de marrons of chocola bijvoorbeeld.
