Food Truck Festival Trek in Amsterdam – Deel 4 De Zuivelmakers

Alweer het laatste deel van mijn avontuur op Trek Amsterdam. Door de vakantie heeft het iets langer geduurd voordat ik dit kon publiceren, maar ik wilde jullie dit toch niet onthouden!

Op zoek naar een lekker toetje liep ik over het terrain. Frozen Yoghurt, IJs, Churros, crepes etc. Er was zo veel keus en toch niet helemaal waar ik naar zocht. Toen zag ik opeens een koe staan, en ik werd nieuwsgierig. Wat zouden ze hier hebben, ijs, milkshake of… Hangop! Te gek, wat een verrassing! Verse ouderwetse hangop met verschillende smaakmakers, wat een geniaal idee!

De smaak die ik uiteindelijk uitkoos was aardbeiden, pecannoten, vanille en bruine suiker. Mmm, lekker hoor, en ook makkelijk thuis na te maken 😉

Fris en romig zoals een goede hangop moet zijn, bijna slagroomachtig maar met net die hint van yoghurt, en dan uiteraard het verse fruit erop. Natuurlijk waren er ook andere smaken beschikbaar: Kokos, cacaopoeder en pure chocolade of citroen, hazelnootsiroop en maanzaad of blauwe bes, citroen en agave siroop, onder andere!

Ik raakte aan de praat met de commercieel manager van het bedrijf, en het bleek dat dit al een groter bedrijf is wat hun zuivelproducten al in veel winkels heeft liggen. Kijk maar eens op www.dezuivelmakers.nl

Normaal gesproken zou ik dit soort bedrijven niet beschrijven op mijn blog, maar wat ik opmerkelijk vond tijdens de discussie en ook als je naar de website kijkt, is dat je een gevoel krijgt van betrokkenheid en zorg voor de toekomst (natuur en dier) en dat is wat me aantrok hierbij. Ze kijken naar goede melk maar ook naar happy koeien, en dat laatste vind ik ook erg belangrijk!

Happy koeien houdt onder meer goed eten voor de dieren in, voldoende ruimte en ook veel tijd buiten in de wei. Kijk voor meer informatie hierover op www.duurzameweidezuivel.nl

De zuivelmakers verkopen hangop en lobbige yoghurt en omdat dit lekkere producten zijn, rekening houdend met duurzaamheid en zorg voor de dieren, en ook nog eens goed verkrijgbaar, krijgen ze van mij een ‘Thumbs up’!
